Grammy-nominated composer Clarice Assad joins Delgani for a stunning performance of Brazilian music featuring the world premiere of her new quartet, arrangements of bossa nova songs by Tom Jobim, and a quartet by the iconic Brazilian composer Heitor Villa-Lobos.
Born in Rio de Janiero and currently based in Chicago, Assad is traveling to Oregon to perform and record a new album with Delgani. Her arrangements of Tom Jobim classics will showcase her talents as composer, vocalist, and pianist in collaboration with Delgani.
