Selected members of The MET Orchestra perform in the intimate Weill Recital Hall in their final concert of the season. Hear selections from Gershwin's characteristically swinging Porgy and Bess, a Tchaikovsky sextet for strings, and Dohnányi's final piece of chamber music. An unusual blend of woodwind, horn, piano, and strings, Dohnányi’s sextet is a superb piece not frequently performed—an ideal selection for this versatile ensemble that constantly evolves to suit the needs of each program.
