In his lofty and complex Symphony No. 41, Mozart seems intent on showing off his sheer brilliance as a composer. Universally known among English-speaking music lovers as the "Jupiter" Symphony, many believe the piece stands as Mozart's greatest symphonic achievement and has attained the immortality of the god whose name it bears. The complete concert, led by OBF artistic director candidate Kazem Abdullah, also features Prokofiev's Symphony No. 1 and Jessie Montgomery’s "urgent, inventive" (The New York Times) commentary on The Star-Spangled Banner.

As of March 31, OBF performance spaces no longer require mandatory face masks or proof of vaccination. The venues do welcome and encourage patrons who wish to, to continue wearing masks while attending performances.
