OSL's Bach Festival 2022 culminates with Principal Conductor Bernard Labadie's leadership of Bach's A Musical Offering. Dating from the composer's final decade, the work is complex and highly chromatic, exhaustively exploring the contrapuntal possibilities of a single theme. Labadie contextualizes the performance with his characteristically informative and illuminating commentary, offering deeper insight into one of Bach’s last and greatest instrumental works.
