Join us for a FREE performance in the Concert Hall Sunday, July 24! Programmed by SMI Conductor and Artistic Advisor, Daniel Bartholomew-Poyser, the SMI Orchestra performs an evening of masterworks and new gems, including works by contemporary composers Anna Clune and Reena Esmail, and the world premiere of Derrick Skye's Flames Nurtured the Rose. The program continues with the first movement of Lalo's Cello Concerto in D minor, featuring soloist Shaw Edwards, and closes with Shostakovich's famous Symphony No. 5.
These concerts are free and open to all. No advance reservations or tickets are required. Seating is first come, first served. The concert is appropriate for all ages.
