The Sustain Music Project is delighted to invite you to a free family-friendly concert exploring the woodwind instruments, featuring the classic Peter and the Wolf, arranged for woodwind quintet and narrated by KING FM midday host Maggie Molloy.
This program brings music to life through creative classical music and storytelling. After the familiar Peter and the Wolf, we'll invite you to imagine your own story as you listen to the fun, creative pieces on the second half of the program.
This concert will be held at Hickman Park – bring your lawn chairs and blankets! – and is free to attend.

About Selina Greso, oboe
About Angelique Poteat, clarinet
Angelique Poteat is a native of the Pacific Northwest, and many of her works are inspired by the natural beauty of the region. Her music has been described as "engaging, restless" (The New York Times), "serious and nicely crafted" (American Record Guide), and "extremely accomplished and vividly picturesque" (Seattle Times), receiving performances on four continents by ensembles including the Seattle Symphony Orchestra, arx Percussion Duo, Emerald City Music, CernaBella, and Trio Claviola. As a clarinetist, Poteat enjoys performing a wide variety of genres, from orchestral to new music for bass clarinet. She has appeared as a soloist with the Yakima Symphony Orchestra, North Corner Chamber Orchestra, and Saratoga Orchestra, and also performs with the Seattle Modern Orchestra, Northwest Sinfonietta, and regularly with the Seattle Symphony Orchestra, Bellingham Festival of Music, and Sunriver Music Festival.

Steven Morgan joined the Federal Way Symphony as principal bassoon in 2015. As an active freelancer he also plays principal bassoon in multiple orchestras in Seattle, Everett and Bellevue. As a soloist, Steven performed concertos by Mozart and Vivaldi with the Federal Way Symphony, Everett Philharmonic Orchestra, and North Corner Chamber Orchestra. He also teaches privately and is a coach at the Bellevue Youth Symphony Orchestra. Before moving to the Puget Sound in 2001, Steven was an active freelancer in southern California, where he earned degrees from UCLA and the University of Redlands. When not playing bassoon or making reeds, Steven enjoys spending time with his twin sons and wife in Edmonds.
