On Friday July 29th at 7pm at St. John's in the Village, join soprano Michelle Trovato, mezzo-soprano JoAnna Pope, and composer/pianist Felix Jarrar for "We Come to Claim the Throne". This recital features music about or related to Mary Queen of Scots in a variety of different musical contexts. The program features the world premiere of Felix Jarrar's song Queen Mary's Lament and his song cycle Venetian Ceruse with text by lyricist/librettist Bea Goodwin. Music by Donizetti and Schumann will be performed alongside other works by Jarrar/Goodwin, among others. Tickets for this concert are $20!
