A quartet of accomplished Northwest classical musicians will play a diverse program ranging from Celtic to Classical, to Romantic, Modern and Jazz, featuring rarely performed works by 19th century Bohemian composer Johann (Jan) Kalliwoda (a contemporary of Brahms), a bravura trio suite by 20th-century Austrian composer Fritz Skorzeny, Leroy Anderson's typewriter concerto, and Take Five by American composer Paul Desmond. Plus a few other surprises!
Each month the museum features some of the Northwest’s finest chamber ensembles, soloists and opera singers. The concerts are about one-hour in length, leaving you time to dine out after. Concert tickets include admission to all the museum galleries, so plan to arrive early to see the current exhibits, Northwest Arts & Crafts Movement: The Chase Family and Friends; The Art of Reading; and Northwest Living – A Heritage of Mid-Century Design. Altogether the perfect evening!
