The orchestra is led in Tchaikovsky’s final symphony by Music Director of the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra, Matthew Kraemer. The first in Respighi’s trilogy of tone poems, Fountains of Rome depicts the fountains in the Italian city. Gabriela Lena Frank combines Peruvian culture and the British composer Benjamin Britten in the opening Concertino Cusqueño.
