Now in its fourth season, Queer Opera brings an exciting weekend of opera to Lincoln Hall, featuring scenes from Manon, Roméo et Juliette, Susannah, and the powerful final act from La Bohème — all told from a queer point of view. In addition, for the first time, QO is producing a full-length opera, The Times Are Nightfall by Rosśa Crean and Aiden Feltcamp. Billed as a sequel to Mozart's Don Giovanni, the one-act opera explores themes of rape culture and grief through the lens of two women who find solace in the most unexpected place: one another. The scenes will be accompanied by a small instrumental ensemble.
