Agnes Scott Faculty Recital: Russian Romantic Piano Music

Agnes Scott Music Department presents a Faculty Recital from Dr. Elena Dorozhkina. She will perform a recital of some recognized and “hidden gems” piano pieces by significant Russian composers of the 19th and early 20th centuries. The performance will include a short lecture about each composer and their pieces. 

Russian-American pianist Dr. Elena Dorozhkina has performed solo and collaborative recitals in the United States, Germany, Czechoslovakia, and Russia. Dr. Dorozhkina graduated from the renowned Saint-Petersburg State Conservatory and earned her DMA from the University of North Texas. She is an artist-affiliate at Agnes Scott College.

This event is free and open to the public. Guests must be vaccinated and boosted to attend. Masks are strongly encouraged indoors. Thank you for helping to keep our community safe!
