A4 Collective is dedicated to bringing people together through classical music and the piano. As part of this initiative we regularly host musicians to perform and share their work, bringing people together through intimate salon-style performances that were once popular in the 19th and early 20th Centuries.
We welcome everyone to enjoy an evening of violin sonatas performed by violinist Nadya Meykson and pianist/composer Hwaen Ch’uqi.
Please use the door on the LEFT to access the stairs to the studio on the second floor. Doors open at 7:30pm. Music begins ~7:45pm.
About Nadya Meykson, violin
About Hwaen Ch'uqi, piano
An Inca Indian and a native of Perú, pianist and composer Hwaen Ch'uqi is a world-renowned soloist, recitalist, and chamber musician. He has performed throughout the United States, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Bulgaria, Russia, Taiwan, Japan, and Perú at such venues as Seiji Ozawa Hall, Alice Tully Hall, the Great Hall of Moscow Conservatory, and Philharmonic Hall in St. Petersburg, Russia. He is a proud product of the Eastman School of Music, and he continues to call Rochester, NY home.
