Cunmo Yin, bronze medalist at the 16th Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition (2021), was born in China in 1993. Yin began studying piano at age nine, and by age 14 had recorded all of Liszt's etudes. In 2009, Yin was awarded second prize at the Shanghai Piano Competition. Yin currently teaches at the Hanover University of Music, Drama, and Media, where he studies with Professor Gerrit Zitterbart and with Andrea Bonatta.
