Join us for an evening of inspiration, celebration, and commemoration as our very own Men and Women of the Gospel Choir mark 30 years of glorious harmony. Led by Theodore Thorpe III, a bastion of choral singing and music direction in the DMV, the "MWOTG" showcases many of the finest voices in our community performing contemporary and classic works of African American heritage. In their three-decade history, the choir have shared the stage with luminaries such as Richard Smallwood, Dorinda Clark Cole, the late Edwin Hawkins, the late Walter Hawkins, Wynton Marsalis and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, Ramsey Lewis, and Sweet Honey In The Rock. For this milestone performance, they revisit favorite works from throughout their history—featuring a number of special guests!
