Pianist Mao Fujita makes his highly anticipated Carnegie Hall debut on our largest stage. Born in Tokyo, Fujita has earned worldwide acclaim for recital performances at major international festivals, collaborations with an enviable list of top orchestras, and commanding performances at such prestigious competitions as Switzerland's Clara Haskil Piano Competition (First Place) and the International Tchaikovsky Competition (Silver Medal). Now signed to an exclusive, multi-album deal with Sony Classical International, Fujita is becoming an even bigger name in the classical world—starting with his October 2022 release of Mozart's complete piano sonatas.
