Willamette University: 'One-Log Bridge'

A new opera theatre work about the immigrant experience in the U.S. This one-act opera blends Chinese folk tunes and Chinese opera traditions with Western operatic tradition to provide a compelling exploration of a timely topic-the complexity of social dynamics inherent in notions of resilience, race, solidarity, immigration, and settlement challenges.
