Full of pep, Saint-Georges' Overture to The Anonymous Lover kicks off the Boise Phil's playful program with grace and delight. Then, the Boise Phil Master Chorale takes center stage for Poulenc's Gloria, with its perfect blend of stately grandeur and joyful mischief. The orchestra invites you to take a flight of fancy with Ravel's Mother Goose Suite, with shimmering music inspired by Beauty and the Beast, Sleeping Beauty, and other fairy tales. This program ends with The Sorcerer's Apprentice, a magical musical tale we all know and love thanks to a famous cartoon mouse.
