Oregon Sinfonietta performs Berlioz's Roman Carnival Overture, Saint-Saëns' Coronation March, and Dvořák's Symphony No. 3 in E-flat major. In addition, one of this season's young Concerto Competition winners, Kristen Kim, will perform Tchaikovsky’s Variations on a Rococo Theme for Cello and Orchestra.
Although donations are always welcome, there is no charge to attend.
About Oregon Sinfonietta
The award-winning Oregon Sinfonietta, conducted by Dr. Donald L. Appert, is a full symphony orchestra of roughly 70 members that draws together community musicians from the greater Portland metro area. The Sinfonietta offers four free concerts per season.
