Carnegie Hall (Zankel Hall), New York, NY, United States

Called "one of the most in-demand opera singers in the world today" with a voice that is "an instrument of great beauty and expression" (NPR), tenor Lawrence Brownlee is one of opera's leading voices, both on stage and off. In this anticipated new program, Brownlee includes a series of newly commissioned works with texts drawn from great Black authors and poets of the Harlem Renaissance. Joining him is outstanding pianist and accompanist Kevin J. Miller, a member of Brownlee's "crack ensemble" for his "gorgeous" 2018 Zankel Hall concert (Broadway World)
