The award-winning Oregon Sinfonietta, now in its 50th season and conducted by Dr. Donald L. Appert, is a full symphony orchestra of roughly 70 members that draws together community musicians from the greater Portland metro area. The Sinfonietta offers four free concerts per season. On Sunday, May 21, 2023, the orchestra performs Coleridge-Taylor's Ballade in A minor and Magnard's seldom heard Symphony No. 4 in C-sharp minor. In addition, one of this season's young Concerto Competition winners, Jacob Nenow, will perform Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 19 in F major.

Although donations are always welcome, there is no charge to attend.
