Please join us on Saturday, June 10 at 7pm for an evening of tonally rich music for women's voices that explores shades of the emotional exhilaration and pain of Love and Longing.
Our last concert of the season, this luscious program highlights the premiere of Pacific Northwest Composer Donald Skirvin's suite of three pieces, All My Songs for You, commissioned by Ancora, and set to poetry from Sara Teasdale's 1920 work, Flame and Shadow.
Partnering the Teasdale texts, our program also includes James Mulholland's Three Love Songs, from text by Emily Dickinson; Johannes Brahms' Four Songs for Three Voices; and works by Richard Nance, Kim Kamerin, Mari Esabel Valverde, and Alice Parker.
