About Rebecca Sabine, violin

Rebecca Sabine BA, CMT-P is a concert violinist, composer, recording artist, and certified mindfulness meditation teacher. Also an alumna of Oregon State University, Sabine received the 2022 Outstanding Senior award in liberal studies and is a member of Phi Kappa Phi. She plays violin professionally with superstars including Lady Gaga, Andrea Bocelli, held an eight-year residency with Celine Dion, and appeared in the most recent Adele performances at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas. As a meditation teacher/violinist, the imagery and symbolism of nature are the stories that she translates into music, working with field recordings to inspire a deeper awareness of the precious sounds of the earth.

A member of the Las Vegas Philharmonic, in 2020 she received a Ford Musician Impact Fund award through the League of American Orchestras to support the outdoor filming of meditation videos for her Violin Sound Sanctuary® YouTube channel. She has recently written articles published in the Journal of the IAWM (International Alliance for Women in Music, fall 2022) and The Journal of Performance and Mindfulness (to be published in 2023.) Collaborating with composer/producer Aaron Ramsey as the Violin/Noir duo, she has recorded the music for several silent films released on DVD by Kino Lorber. Her Sea of Light album of meditation music is streaming on Pandora, Spotify, and on the Insight Timer meditation app with over 38K plays.
