This season, Chelsea Music Festival is thrilled to announce our new venue partner and Opening Weekend Sponsor, Genesis House.
During Opening Weekend of our 2023 Festival, we welcome all to come and experience this dynamic and immersive space with its Tea Pavilion, Library, and outdoor Terrace views of the Hudson River, and enjoy free musical performances right in the heart of New York City's Meatpacking District.
Will include performances by Asaran Earth Trio, cellist Caleb van der Swaagh, soprano Sonya Headlam, violinist Max Tan, composer Nicky Sohn, and more Festival musicians! And also a public conversation with Artistic Directors & special guests!
About Asaran Earth Trio
Asaran Earth Trio is an all-female multinational group of virtuosic musicians and educators. Together they perform folk songs from around the globe as well as original compositions, uniquely arranged for voice and percussion. Their music honors their roots while simultaneously reveling in improvisations and contemporary harmonies.
