The General Theological Seminary, New York, NY, United States

The Festival welcomes back the Verona Quartet to treat audiences to a night of music at the beautiful General Theological Seminary.

Acclaimed as an "outstanding ensemble…cohesive yet full of temperament" (The New York Times), the Verona Quartet has firmly established itself amongst the most distinguished ensembles on the chamber music scene today.

This concert takes place just three days after the release of the quartet's latest album, SHATTER, and they will perform Reena Esmail's breathtaking quartet from their new album alongside quartets by Korean-born American composer, Texu Kim, and Beethoven.

Audiences will also enjoy artwork on view courtesy of the Gleaning Project, an amazing Chelsea-based community organization, founded by visual artist Noemia Marinho, that centers on bringing renewal to marginalized women in the local neighborhood and caring for the Earth through Art created from discarded materials.
