Bringing the "classical world's most coveted retreat" (The New Yorker) to national audiences, Musicians from Marlboro has been lauded as "a virtual guarantee of musical excellence" (Washington Post). The second of three Marlboro touring ensembles this season pairs Ralph Vaughan Williams's powerful Blake Songs for tenor and oboe with Scottish composer Helen Grime's exhilarating Oboe Quartet and the expansive majesty of Brahms's Piano Quartet in A major.
This performance will be presented in-person at Benjamin Franklin Hall, and online via free livestream at https://www.pcmsconcerts.org/concerts/livestreams/.
