The program features Arturo Marquez's lively Danzón No. 4; Kevin Puts' expressive Flute Concerto, featuring Stratus's own Tamara Maddaford on flute; Nkeiru Okoye's vibrant Charlotte Mecklenburg; and Florence Price's powerful Concert Overture No. 1. Through this concert, especially with SCO's unique immersive seating at the Sunday performance, we transcend boundaries, champion diversity, and highlight the universal language of music.
