Dunava (from Дунав, the Bulgarian name for the Danube river) is a Balkan women's choir, comprised of singers with a passion for intricate harmonies and varying vocal technique. Dunava is dedicated to studying and performing traditional folk music from Eastern Europe with respect, and introducing audiences to these beautiful vocal traditions and songs.

Join us for a very special evening featuring a performance by these incredible singers and a conversation with Darek Mazzone, co-founder of the cultural non-profit SAMA (Seattle Sacred Music & Art) and DJ of the Wo'Pop show on Seattle's KEXP 90.3 FM.

Registration is confirmed by email.
