Tregaron Unplugged returns in 2023, promising an enchanting afternoon of acoustic bliss amidst the serene beauty of Tregaron Conservancy. This highly anticipated event brings together talented local musicians and nature enthusiasts for an intimate, unplugged experience of chamber music, contemporary folk, opera, and jazz. Against lush greenery and tranquil landscapes, attendees will be treated to performances that transcend genres, offering a harmonious blend of melodies and nature's symphony. With its unique fusion of music and natural serenity, Tregaron Unplugged invites guests to stroll through the park and immerse themselves in an unforgettable experience of sensory delights, fostering a deep connection between art and the wonders of the great outdoors.

Performers include singer-songwriter Gëtte, jazz ensemble Brad Linde OUTSIDE, Mars Arts D.C. Strings, classical harpist Kim Sator, sitarist Snehesh Nag, and abstract painter Khalid Thompson.

Tregaron performances are free with required registration.

Post-Concert Young Patron Event: 
Patrons age 40 and younger are invited to mix and mingle with other young arts fans and Washington Performing Arts Junior Board members at nearby Nanny O’Brien’s Irish Pub (3319 Connecticut Ave NW, Washington, DC 20008) from 5pm to 7pm.

About Kim Sator, harp

Harpist Kim Sator is a lifelong contributor to the DC Metropolitan Area's artist community. This native Washingtonian got her musical foundation in the DC Public School System and the DC Youth Orchestra Program. She started on violin and later transitioned to flute and piano. Once she discovered the harp she never looked back. A graduate of Howard University, her artistry transcends the confines of genre weaving her musical ideas into jazz, gospel, and contemporary music. Solo or with other musicians, she finds joy in creating new ideas.

About Snehesh Nag, sitar

Snehesh is a musician and researcher currently based in Baltimore, USA. He is a practitioner of North Indian classical music on the sitar and has primarily been a disciple of his father, Pt. Sugato Nag, but has also been under the tutelage of Pt. Buddhadev Dasgupta, Pt. Prattyush Banerjee, and Shri Pranab Naha. In addition to the style of the Senia Shahjahanpore gharana, he infuses the Imdadakhani gharana style into his playing. He is known to blend a lot of "emotion, surprise elements, and aesthetic touches" in his playing. He is the recipient of numerous awards and accolades, and has toured the India, US, and Canada extensively.
