Wolf Trap Chamber Music At The Barns presents "Zukerman: A Musical Birthday Celebration," a celebration of distinguished violinist Pinchas Zukerman's 75th birthday. In celebration of his 75th birthday, the famed violinist performs Mozart, Mendelssohn, and Dvořák. Mr. Zukerman is joined by American pianist Michael Stephen Brown, hailed by The New York Times as "one of the leading figures in the current renaissance of performer-composers," and noted cellist Amanda Forsyth.
The series will consist of two chamber music performances on November 3, 2023 and November 4, 2023 at 6pm at The Barns.
About Michael Stephen Brown, piano
Praised for his "fearless performances," by The New York Times and "exceptionally beautiful" compositions by The Washington Post, pianist and composer Michael Stephen Brown is a frequent performer of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center series. Mr. Brown, whose artistry is shaped by his creative voice as a pianist and composer, will be featured in the Society 2023-24 season with a solo recital at Alice Tully Hall. A native New Yorker, he lives there with his two 19th-century Steinway Ds, Octavia and Daria.
