Equal parts passion, grit, and musical ecstasy, Sybarite5 string quintet offer an intoxicating cocktail of post-genre musical goodness and virtuosity. For their three-night Crypt Lab residency, they'll focus their considerable talents on a series of programs with musical roots that range from classical to rock, jazz to reggae, Armenian folk to the avant-garde, and everything in between. The performances will include world premiere works by Curtis Stewart, Mikael Karlsson, Andres Martin, Laura Kaminsky, Kamala Sankaram, David T. Little, and Martin Hennessy with a guest appearance from acclaimed vocalist Blythe Gaissert.

Scored for string quintet, tape loops, and live AM radio, Apartments is Greenberg's contribution to Sybarite5's exciting new album Collective Wisdom. In Apartments, the members of Sybarite5 navigate their way through a collection of fragments at their own pace, exploring the intersection between everyday sounds, human connection and current events.
