The internationally lauded American pianist Michael Stephen Brown, hailed by The New York Times as "one of the leading figures in the current renaissance of performer-composers," will return to the Howland Chamber Music Circle in a duo recital of piano and violin on Sunday afternoon, November 12, 2023 at 4pm at the Howland Cultural Center.

Mr. Brown will be joined by the internationally noted violinist Arnaud Sussmann. The program, drawing inspiration from Mr. Sussman's own grandfather's survival of Auschwitz-Birkenau, will feature Mr. Sussmann and Mr. Brown performing works by Jewish composers whose lives were directly impacted by the war.
