The Sebastians teams up with the esteemed Yale Voxtet to present Voices of Versailles, a program of French baroque vocal repertoire. Marking the first partnership between the two ensembles, the elegantly luxurious concert centers around Charpentier's rarely-performed La Couronne de fleurs, H. 486 for eight voices and chamber ensemble, alongside works by Jacquet de La Guerre, Lully, and more.
About Yale Voxtet
Members of the Yale Voxtet are students of Professor James Taylor and are candidates for graduate degrees in voice. The select group of eight singers specializes in early music, oratorio, and chamber ensemble. In addition to performing a variety of chamber music programs each year, the group sings, tours, and records as part of Yale Schola Cantorum.
