Leo Eguchi presents a performance featuring eight short new works for solo cello which explore personal stories of immigration and American identity. Each of the commissioned works is by immigrant and first-generation American composers tasked with tackling the question, “What does your American-ness sound like?

Unaccompanied features thought beautiful and provoking solo works by Milad Yousufi, Kareem Roustom, Earl Maneein, James Diaz, Frank Duarte, Shaw Pong Liu, Kenji Bunch, and José-Luis Hurtado.
