On Tuesday, December 5th at 8pm, the historic Alfred Street Baptist Church Music and Worship Arts Ministry returns to the Kennedy Center Concert Hall stage to present "Do You Hear What I Hear?" – A Christmas Celebration. This long-awaited concert will feature a 100-voice chorus, full orchestra, rhythm section, Liturgical dancers, and drama. Artistic Director Mr. Theodore Thorpe III, and Dr. Joyce Garrett also return as conductor and Executive Director, respectively. The concert will also feature local operatic soprano favorites: Brandie Sutton, Anika Sampson-Anderson, and Simone Paulwell; noted tenors, Duawne Starling, Roderick Gilles, and Sean Tillery, and four-time Grammy and 16-time Stellar award-winning gospel artist, the incomparable Yolanda Adams.
