Gather with us as we tell the story, through music, poetry, and scripture, in our annual Gospel Christmas service. Our very own contemporary ensemble is featured with the Washington Performing Arts Children of the Gospel Choir and the Jason Max Ferdinand Singers. ASL interpretation is offered for this service. Livestream also available.

Attending in person: Due to capacity concerns, passes are required. We’re excited to welcome you to Christmas at the Cathedral, and we want to make our services accessible to everyone. All worship services at the Cathedral are free. We welcome your support if you would like to help us cover the costs of managing ticketing and entry. The suggested $7 processing fee is optional.

About Jason Max Ferdinand Singers

The Jason Max Ferdinand Singers is a project that Jason Max Ferdinand has thought about since 2001. In January of 2021, a creative opportunity was asked of Jason, and after some hesitation and contemplation, he decided to take a dive into the deep.

What resulted is a choral group that is the epitome of excellence. A diverse group – made up of professional artists as well as teachers, lawyers, and other non-singing professionals – this malleable ensemble performs a variety of musical genres with an authenticity that is felt with each note. The group is on a mission to promote black excellence through choral literature of contrasting styles, while advocating for inclusion, diversity, and unity within our various societies throughout the world.
