WCO performs for the first time as a part of the 52nd season of the Chevy Chase Concert Series. For over 51 years, Chevy Chase Concerts has offered admission-free concerts to the community because of a belief that music nourishes people's minds and souls and speaks deeply in ways that words alone often cannot.
Renowned cellist Eric Kutz, cello professor at the University of Maryland College Park, will be gracing WCO's stage for a performance of Haydn's Cello Concerto in C major. The orchestra will also be delighting the audience with a rendition of the timeless masterpiece Mozart's Symphony No. 40 in G minor.
