The Chapel at the Good Shepherd Center, Seattle, WA, United States

The Seattle Classic Guitar Society is proud to present classical guitarist David Feingold in a free concert at the Chapel Space at Good Shepherd Center on Saturday, February 10 at 2pm. His program includes his own compositions and music by Domenico Scarlatti, Erik Satie, Manuel Ponce, Clifford Brown, and Thelonius Monk. He will also perform part of his program on a D'Aquisto Excel Non-cutaway Archtop guitar. Feingold's programs often include his own works for guitar, his arrangements of popular song as well as his own "short-form" compositions. Playing this music, some of it on nylon string with classical technique, imparts a unique flavor – especially with the addition of improvisation, but also the integration of diverse musical influences that reflect his musical background.
