Lieschen absolutely loves coffee! Her father absolutely does not and wants her to give up her morning brew. Who will win this caffeinated battle of wills? Join us for Bach's sparkling comedic miniature featuring the world premiere of a new English translation and orchestration by OSO Music Director Geoffrey McDonald. Audiences will become further immersed in the plot's debate with a guided coffee tasting from The Lost Draft.
Runs Feb. 14-24. Runtime is approximately 45 minutes. Sung in English with supertitles via webpage.
Throughout the show there will be a coffee tasting provided by The Lost Draft.

Flutist John Romeri maintains an active teaching and performance schedule throughout the northeast, often performing with such orchestras as the American Ballet Theatre Orchestra, Orchestra of St. Luke's, Stamford, Delaware, Harrisburg, and Lancaster Symphonies, as well as the Philadelphia Virtuosi and Black Pearl Chamber Orchestras, St. Paul's Chapel of Trinity Wall Street, and Central Park's Shakespeare in the Park. John is also a member of the American Modern Ensemble.
John is also a sought-after player of Broadway shows including the most recent revival of Carousel. Other Broadway credits include Sweeney Todd, Wicked, Miss Saigon, Sunset Boulevard, the Lincoln Center revivals of My Fair Lady and The King and I, She Loves Me, An American in Paris, On the Town, Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella, Les Misérables, Beauty and the Beast, Ragtime, Mary Poppins, and The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess. Television appearances include Mildred Pierce [HBO], Late Night with Jimmy Fallon [NBC], and NBC's The Sound of Music Live! and Peter Pan Live!
