We'll be playing two trios for flute, cello and piano. Please join us!
The two pieces are quite different. The Martinů was composed in 1944 while he was in America for several years and has some jazz influence with a lot of off-beat rhythms. The Weber trio was composed in 1818; it sounds like the early Romantic era piece it is, but has a lot of variety, some of which makes it rather tricky to play!
The hall is just a couple blocks from the northeast corner of Green Lake, so you could have a nice walk there before or after.
