Bernard Labadie conducts the Orchestra of St. Luke's in Mozart's dramatic Symphony No. 40—one of only two symphonies that Mozart wrote in a minor key. Esteemed German violinist Isabelle Faust makes her Orchestra of St. Luke's debut with Brahms's towering Violin Concerto, a thrilling work that, despite its technical demands, never sacrifices substance for flash. Faust’s "expressively searching and introspective" (The Guardian) interpretation allows listeners to experience the work in all its dynamic beauty.
