PSU Opera Scholarship Competition

PSU Voice students, competing for the Richard Helzer Opera Scholarship and David Jimerson Endowed Vocal Scholarship, perform a range of favorite opera arias before a panel of judges.

Thank you to our esteemed judges, Susan McBerry, University of Portland, Karen Esquivel, University of Oregon Opera director, and Nicholas Fox, head coach at Portland Opera.

Guests are also encouraged to arrive early for a 2pm opera concert featuring winners from last year's competition including Johnny Derby and March Steiger.
