In the spirit of romance, the BSO is thrilled to present Tchaikovsky's iconic Fifth Symphony, a testament to the profound depths of romantic expression. The evening will also spotlight the real-life love story of two pianists, Lark Powers and Ricardo de la Torre, as they enchant us with the delightful Concerto for Four Hands by the eighteenth-century maestro, Leopold Koželuch. Opening the concert is a musical thrill ride, Pulse, by the contemporary composer Margaret Brouwer.
