During the pandemic, SoundsTruck NW Founder and Director Yoko Greeney reimagined the concert experience for maximum flexibility, resiliency, and access. The result is a movable venue that allows for invigorating and connective performances while social distancing outdoors. The beautiful and durable stage trailer and truck combination situates in any drivable location. With its high level of innovation, SoundsTruck NW expands the arena for both audiences and culturemakers throughout the Pacific Northwest.

SoundsTruck NW supports the health, wellbeing, and vibrancy of communities by bringing live ensemble music and family-oriented programming into neighborhoods, nature, and institutions. Utilizing its unique mobile stage, SoundsTruck NW increases access and connection to the arts with priority given to underserved areas.

About Thomas Schroyer, handpan drum

International performer for over 25 years, Thomas Schroyer has been playing ethnic music since the 90s, deeply influenced by tribal trance music and mideastern world percussion. His vision is to bring peace through his music in these changing times.

Thomas was the music director for Theater of the Invisible for three seasons and his music has been featured on several travel films. He has played in venues such as Portland Art Museum, PSU, Oregon Country Faire, Beloved,, Imagine Festival, Breitenbush, and yoga studios in different parts of the world.

Thomas resides in Portland but often finds inspiration with his handpan playing inside of a Redwood or on top of a mountain.
