Visit three continents in one afternoon! From the drawing rooms of Dresden to the wide open spaces of Colorado, this concert spans the gamut of symphonic music. Antonio Vivaldi's Concerto in G minor, written for the Dresden Orchestra and Joseph Haydn's Symphony No. 84 represent the European classical music tradition. Accordion soloist Jamie Maschler will join the Symphony to transport the audience to South America for Three Tangos by Astor Piazzolla. And the Northwest premiere of Robert Bassett's Lodore will evoke the beauty of Colorado's Green River.
