Johanny Navarro — Selected works (world premiere TBA)
Giuseppe VerdiRequiem

The EUSO and University Chorus join forces to present Verdi's Requiem. The EUSO will also premiere a new orchestral work as part of the Composer Commission Project: EUSO @ 100, highlighting the work of female-identifying BIPOC composers. This project—now in its third year—has developed as a collaboration between the Schwartz-Artist-in-Residence program, EUSO, and Emory composition faculty to bring to Emory's campus emerging composers from backgrounds currently underrepresented within American classical music. For the 2024 presentation, EUSO premieres a new orchestral work by this year's project winner, Johanny Navarro.
