Key to Change invites the public to its 7th annual Spring Salon Fundraiser. The Spring Salon Fundraiser is an awards ceremony that features music performances from students who participated in the Key to Change Solo String Festival. Additionally, Dr. Sheila Edwards Lange, chancellor at the University of Washington-Tacoma, will be recognized with the Community Achievement Award for her ongoing support for underserved students living in South King County.

The Spring Salon Fundraiser raises funds for underserved middle and high school students, who study the violin or viola in our program. Students who have participated in our program have performed for Dr. Jill Biden, the First Lady of the United States, made their professional debuts with the Seattle Symphony, engaged in various youth-led activities, and are young poised leaders making a difference in their respective communities.

Schedule:
2pm Reception
3pm-4pm Awards Ceremony
