Emily D'Angelo's 2022 US recital debut was called "wondrous and powerful," and "an intimate encounter with one of the world’s special young singers" by The New York Times. In this recital debut at the Hall, she performs 12th- and 21st-century works featured on her Classical Album of the Year (Solo Artist)–winning debut album (2022 JUNO Awards), as well as late–16th- and 17th-century selections by Dowland and Purcell. In bringing together nearly 1,000 years of characterful vocal repertoire, D'Angelo shows why she has been named a Lincoln Center Emerging Artist, and one of WQXR's "40 Under 40" and CBC's "30 Hot Classical Musicians Under 30."
