In the final Classic concert of the seaon, the EP presents the music of India with Grammy award-winning tabla player, Sandeep Das, who will make his debut with the orchestra. His performance of Tabla Concerto by Dinuk Wijeratne brings an evocative merging of North Indian Classical, quasi-baroque, electronic, and traditional Tabla styles. The concert finishes with Rachmaninoff's lush and most popular Symphony No. 2, a passionate piece considered the pinnacle of late Romanticism.
