The Isidore Quartet burst on the scene with their spectacular winning performance at the 14th Banff International String Quartet Competition in 2022, leading to debut performances with top series across North America and Europe. Formed at Juilliard, the quartet is heavily influenced by the Juilliard String Quartet and the idea of "approaching the established as if it were brand new, and the new as if it were firmly established."

About Isidore String Quartet
Winners of the 14th Banff International String Quartet Competition in 2022, the New York City-based Isidore String Quartet was formed in 2019 with a vision to revisit, rediscover, and reinvigorate the repertory. The quartet is heavily influenced by the Juilliard String Quartet and the idea of "approaching the established as if it were new, and the new as if it were firmly established."
The members of the quartet are violinists Adrian Steele and Phoenix Avalon, violist Devin Moore, and cellist Joshua McClendon.
About Franklin Pond Chamber Music
Founded by Atlanta Symphony Orchestra violinist Ronda Respess, Franklin Pond Chamber Music is a year-round training program for talented young musicians. Students accepted into the program work closely with faculty members from the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and The Atlanta Opera, play in masterclasses led by renowned guest artists from around the country, and participate in seminars related to music performance such as public speaking, eurythmics, and Alexander Technique.
Students enrolled in FPCM significantly strengthen their individual playing skills, and they also develop interpersonal skills that positively affect their daily lives.
A non-profit organization, Franklin Pond has been serving the Atlanta community for over 20 years. Students and faculty regularly perform throughout the metro area for a wide variety of audiences, from churches, assisted living facilities and libraries to Symphony Hall and the Atlanta Botanical Gardens.
