Tradition meets innovation as the musicians of Ensemble Connect collaborate on a boundary-transcending program with electronics designer and percussionist Levy Lorenzo. The unique performance includes Lorenzo's Consolas, his new work for laptop quartet; his inventive take on Terry Riley's In C with custom musical bots; and a pair of iconic works for live instruments and electronics by Ryuichi Sakamoto and Kaija Saariaho.

Arrive at 7pm to experience an interactive sound-and-light installation by lighting artist and designer Nicholas Houfek. Each ticket includes a voucher for a free drink.

Ensemble Connect is a program of Carnegie Hall, The Juilliard School, and the Weill Music Institute in partnership with the New York City Department of Education. This two-year fellowship program prepares extraordinary young professional classical musicians for careers that combine musical excellence with teaching, community engagement, advocacy, entrepreneurship, and leadership.
